Alice Greenwood, 87 years old of Wood River IL, passed away on Thursday January 9, 2025 at her residence with her daughters at her side.

Alice married Wayne Greenwood, June 5, 1970; he preceded her in death April 29, 2019.

Alice is survived by three daughters, Susan  (Steve) Booher, Sharon (Tom) Stassi and Sheila (Dave) Galbreath; eight grandchildren, Joshua Stassi, Danielle (Joey) Parker, Jesse (Nancy) LaBate, Katelyn Galbreath, Lyla and Eva Rahn, and Kollyns and Cameron Porter; great grandchildren, Bradley and Jax and niece Heidi (Graham) Bruenstein.

Anyone who ever knew Alice came away a friend; she was inviting, loving and kind with a wonderful sense of humor.  She loved her family dearly and it's impossible to sum up her life and its impact with just these few paragraphs.  She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Elmer and Mary Jane (Shirley) Graham; brother, William Graham; paternal grandmother, Sylvia Graham and stepmother, Allene Smith.
