Staunton—Anna Louise Ballard, 83, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at her home.

Born June 24, 1937 in Cuba, MO, she was a daughter of Pearl and Elizabeth Ann (Brook) Gargus.

Anna worked as a caregiver, assisting people in their homes.  She had attended the First Baptist Church in Staunton and enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and crocheting.  She dearly loved her puppy.

She is survived by three daughters, JoAnn Morgan of Staunton, Vickie (Pete) Mulder of Broadway, NC, and Elaine Ahumada of Bunker Hill, two sons, Roger (Shirley) Sills of Hutchison, KS, and Scott Sills of Kalamazoo, MI; 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Bobby Joe Sills; second husband James Ballard; a son, Bobby K. Sills; four brothers; and three sisters.
