Betty E. Miner 93, of Bethalto passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Alton Nursing & Rehab.  She was born August 19, 1932 in DuBois, IN to Joseph and Lillian (Tabor) Fromme.

Betty married Harold E. Miner January 31, 1954 in Indianapolis, IN; he preceded her in death February 19, 1994.  She was retired from Wood River Hospital after 20 years of service.

She is survived by her son, James (Karen) Miner of Litchfield; daughter, Linda (Mark) Ward of East Alton; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Jared, James, Justin and Kelly; seven great grandchildren and two brothers, Gerald and Bob Fromme.

She was preceded death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Howard and John and three sisters, Jane, Rose and Sis.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2026 at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.  Paynic Home for Funerals entrusted with professional services.
