Carolyn Stoeckel, 75, of South Roxana passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Alton Memorial Hospital.  She was born February 6, 1945 in Clarksville, TN.  She married Loren Stoeckel, October 31, 1980.

Carolyn enjoyed reading, singing and playing cards.  She loved to witness to people about God.

She is survived by her husband, Loren Stoeckel of South Roxana; mother, Effie (Crump) Dugan of Wood River; daughter, Kim (Todd) Noeltner of Marine; sons, Michael Maloney of Hopkinsville, KY, Brian Maloney of Kansas City, MO and Shawn Stoeckel of Wood River; stepson, Todd (Liz) Stoeckel of Mulberry Grove; grandchildren, Jeremy, Josh, Nick, Nathan,  Kimmy and Alecia; six great grandchildren; a brother, Glen (Martha) Ray of Bethalto and a sister, Janet Ray of East Alton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Ray, brother, Wayne Ray and a stepson, Kevin Stoeckel.
