Catherine "Bubbles" Jones, 74, of Alton passed away Saturday, September 7, 2025 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in Alton.  She was born July 14, 1951 to John and Elizabeth (Barnhill) Pilger.  She married Lewis Jones on June 22, 2018; he preceded her in death June 3, 2020.

Catherine loved bingo and played every chance she had.  She also enjoyed swimming, crocheting, knitting, playing on her computer and her cigarettes.

She is survived by her three children, Deborah (Heber) Wade II, Holly (Jerry) Caito, Jr and Forrest Weed (Jenny Sherwood); grandchildren, Heber (Jessica) Wade II, Desiree Wade, Cameron Schallenberg, Ethan Weed, Elizabeth Weed and Harmony Schallenberg; great grandchildren, Waylen, Logan, Dakota, Amelia Wade; brother, John (Joyce) Pilger and sisters, Shirley Mourning and Gloria (Pat) McGrath.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Marcella Shan; first husband, Forrest A. Weed and brothers in law, David Mourning and Donald Shan.
