Roxana—Charles D. Seehausen, Sr., 63, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at his home.

Born May 22, 1957 in Wood River, he was a son of Charles J. and Minnie (Fee) Seehausen.

Chuck worked for years at Ackerman Chevrolet as an auto body technician.  He was a huge NASCAR fan, and he loved his dog Harley.

Survivors include three daughters, Amy (Nathan) Ziegler of Rosewood Heights, Katie (Josh) Humiston of Grafton, and Theresa Seehausen of Roxana; a son, Tommy Seehausen of East Alton; ten grandchildren, Joseph, Megan and Matthew Ziegler, Marissa Seehausen, Lillian Martin, Emma Seehausen, Lucas Humiston, Noah and Rhylin Neal, and Cassidy Seehausen; a sister, Dara (John) Hash of Wood River; and a brother, Val Seehausen of East Alton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty (Foutch) Seehausen; his son, Charles D. Seehausen, Jr.; and a brother, Alan Seehausen.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 24 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 10 a.m. until services begin at 12 p.m.

Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton.
