Floyd Raymond Reid, Jr., 69, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

Born July 27, 1955 in Fort Knox, KY, he was a son of Floyd Raymond Reid, Sr. and Marion (Parson) Reid.

Floyd retired from Ford Motor Co. in 2003.  He enjoyed painting pictures, building model cars, and collecting various items.  He loved to play card and board games with his family.

He married Mary L. Nichols Dec. 21, 1973, and together they shared nearly 51 years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; his daughters, Mary Catherine Randolph, Lemanda Reid, Nicole Danielle Myers, Christina Reid and Natalie-An Kelsie Reid; his sons, Floyd Raymond Reid, III, Thomas Charles Reid, and Nathan Alan Kelcie Reid; his grandchildren, Riley, Abigail, Emily, Ethan, Wyatt, Amelia, Cheyenne, and Jacob; two brothers, Dan Reid and Ron Reid; and his sister, Marion "Sissy" Trzasko.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Cameron.
