Bethalto—Jacob Edward Provaznik, 35, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023.  He was born October 7, 1987 in Alton.  He married Tara Hanner March 10, 2012.  Jacob worked as a Union Glazier.

He is survived by his wife, Tara Provaznik of Bunker Hill; daughter, Ryleigh Provaznik of Bunker Hill; Laytnn Edward Provaznik of Bunker Hill; mother, Paula (Randy) McCollum of Bunker Hill; brothers, Josh (Casey) Provaznik of Bunker Hill and Daniel Farrel of Wood River; father, David Provaznik of Bethalto; fraternal grandmother, Zola R. Provaznik of Bethalto; maternal grandfather, Paul Householder Sr of Sikeston, MO and several aunts uncles and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his fraternal grandfather, David Provaznik Sr and maternal grandmother, Betsy Householder,
