James Henry England, 95, of Hartford passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Christian North East Hospital.  He was born April 12, 1925 in Roodhouse, IL to James Harvey and Elizabeth L. (Spiker) England.  He married Dorothy A. (Jordan) Reynolds November 27, 1964 in Edwardsville; she preceded him in death in 2009.  James served in the United States Navy in WWII from 1943 to 1946.  He was a member of Wood River VFW Post 2859

He is survived by his daughter, Gwendolyn (Steve) Corgan of Wildwood, MO; son, James B. (Debbie) England of Edwardsville; stepson, Gary Reynolds of Hartford; 10 grandchildren; Jared Corgan, Justin Corgan and Jake Corgan, Brianne England, Tony England, Stephanie Walling, Cassandra England, Tara Schwegler, Jamie Winkler and Melissa Pierce; 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren

In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his son, Steven England and sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Charlie Thaxton
