Moro—Joshua Alexander Stover, 28, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022.

Born May 13, 1994, he was the son of Kenneth William and Laura Lynn (Hanold) Stover.

He attended Civic Memorial and SIUE and worked as a financial stock trader.  He enjoyed puzzles, reading, playing chess, watching movies, cooking and hiking.

He is survived by his mother, Laura Stover of Moro; his sister, Crista Nicole Stover of Moro; his maternal grandmother, Carol Hanold of East Alton; his paternal grandmother, Beverly Valdez and her husband Fred Valdez, both of Godfrey; his aunt, Amy Hanold; uncles, Mark, Robert, Ronnie, and Paul Stover; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Stover; his grandfathers, Robert G. Stover and Paul Alexander Hanold, Jr.; and his great grandfathers, Fred A. Bryant, Paul Alexander Hanold, Sr., and Kenneth I. Stover.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 25 at Moro Presbyterian Church from 10:30 a.m. until services begin at 11:30 a.m.

He will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey on Monday, June 27 at 11:30 a.m.

A future Celebration of Life is also planned for his family and friends on July 16 with details to come.
