Rosewood Heights—Murrel French, Sr., 74, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025 at his home.

Born May 18, 1950 in Waco, TX, he was the son of Harrison Charles and Mary Ann (Mans) French.

Murrel worked in electronics sales for several years.  He married Sharon Godwin Dec. 30, 1988.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Rosewood Heights; his son Murrel "Lee" (Celeste) French, Jr. of East Alton; his daughter, Michelle Dixon of Hartford; and a grandson, Reilly.

Murrel graciously donated his body to St. Louis University Medical School.
