Patricia L. Lilley, 81, formerly of Alton, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026 at La Bella of Alton.

Born Jan. 19, 1945 in Alton, she was the daughter of Eugene and Virginia (Youthan) Bensman.

She married David Lilley in March of 1981.  He preceded her in death in 2015.

Pat worked for many years at Owens-Illinois Glassworks until they closed.  Later she worked as a cashier for K-Mart.  She enjoyed reading and listening to classic Motown music.  In her younger years, she enjoyed camping and fishing and still liked to be outdoors.  She also was a fan of police and medical drama TV shows.

She is survived by her daughter, Christy Lilley and three grandchildren, Lucy, Luna and Jude, all of Jerseyville.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harold "Butch" Bensman.
