Patricia A. McCance, 84, of Alton, IL, passed away at 11:37 a.m. Wed. Oct. 25, 2023 at her home.

She was born Jan. 15, 1939 in St. Louis, MO to the late Edna (Johnson) Dieckhaus and Wilbur Edmiston.

Patricia had worked for Station Casino and Essen Hardware.  She loved animals and was a supporter of the Humane Society.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Cynthia McCance of Alton and Tammie (John) Moore of Florissant, MO; a son: Jeff (Dana) McCance of Alton; 4 grandchildren: Melissa Treiber, Kelly Moore, William Pettypool and Jacob Pettypool; 5 great-granchildren; a sister: Susan Stone of St. Charles, MO; and a brother: Michael Edmiston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen L. McCance in 1994.
