Raymond Cummings, 85, of Delhi passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 with his family at his side.  He was born November 12, 1938 in Greene County, IL to Howard and B. Maxine (Chappell) Cummings.  Raymond served his Country in the United States Airforce from 1956-1961.  He worked as an engineer at Boeing until the time of his retirement.  In his free time Raymond enjoyed golfing and listening to the radio.

He is survived by his daughter, Terresa (John) Elliott of Cottage Hills; he was Ray Dad to Cynthia Wittman of Decatur, GA and Janice Wittman of Delhi for 51 years; sister, Ketra (Scott) Nailor of Godfrey; brother, Frank (Virginia) Cummings of Flippin, AR; grandchildren, Shauna James, Danielle Frankford and Shelby Frankford; great grandchildren, Cassie, Ashton, Isabella and Kayden and longtime companion, Lori Fast of Brighton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy J. Cummings and a brother, Charles Cummings.

Cremation service entrusted to Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights.  The family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date.  Memorial can be made to the Kidney Foundation.  Online guestbook available at www.paynicfh.com
