Sandra "Sue" Dugan, 83, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 3, 1941 in Chesterfield, IL to Samuel and Marian (Damms) Burns.  She graduated in 1960 from Carlinville High School, where she met the man she would marry, Charles "Chuck" Dugan

Sue worked for Kelsey Law Firm in Carlinville, and then became a stay-home wife and mother.  In 1977 Chuck and Sue founded Dugan Tool & Die, and she worked there until they both retired.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Douglas Carl Dugan; her daughters, Tracey Sue Dugan and Frances Caroline Dugan; and a sister in law, Juanita Dugan.

Sue is survived by 5 grandchildren, great grandchildren, her brother-in-law, Wayne Dugan cousins and a niece and nephew.

A time of remembrance will be held from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood heights.  In accordance with her wishes, Sue was cremated.  Her ashes will be interred in the family plot with her husband and two children at a later date.
