Sharon Rose Lowe, 80, of Alton, IL, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Sun. Aug 9, 2020 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL.

She was born July 2, 1940 in Alton to the late Jesse and Freda (Buhlman) Schriner.

On Nov. 21, 1959 she and Elbert J. Lowe were married in East Alton, IL.  He preceded her in death Feb. 11, 2009.

Sharon is survived by 2 sons: Jeff (Cindy) Lowe and John (Lucinda) Lowe; 3 daughters: Linda (Tom) Quigley, Laurie Lowe and Jennifer Lowe, all of Alton; 6 grandchildren: Andrew and Holly (Joel) Pikora, Brendan and Emily Lowe and Kristin and Carson Lowe; a brother: Sam Schriner of Alton; and a sister: Sylvia Rothe of Brighton, IL.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Shirley Brockman and Sandra Lowe.

Private graveside services will be held at Upper Alton Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
