Alton City Clerk

The Alton City Clerk handles Death Certificates of all deaths occurring in Alton, Godfrey, Moro, and Fosterburg.  The Clerk issues Certified Copies death certificates to property identified individuals and funeral homes.  The City Clerk submits a monthly report to the Vital Records Office in Springfield, Illinois. 

Edwardsville City Clerk

The Edwardsville City Clerk handles Death Certificates of deaths occurring in central and eastern Madison County.

Granite City Clerk

The City Clerk of Granite City handles Death Certificates of deaths occurring in southwestern Madison County.
